Scuttle's Island Water Park

Scuttle’s Island Water Park, a one-of-a-kind water attraction, is ready to make a splash into North Augusta.

In 2016, the exclusive new water park will open to the public to offer family fun throughout the summer.

Conveniently located just off of Exit 5 on I-20 in North Augusta, Scuttle’s Island Water Park visitors will be able to plunder through a number of slides, a wave pool, lazy river, a kid’s interactive area, eateries and much more.

Scuttle's Island Features and Facts



Will span roughly 40 acres with attractions throughout



During summer months, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week


Project Cost:

Roughly $21,460,000



Will create 93 seasonal jobs and 12 full-time employees


Estimated Visitors:

Between 250,000 and 300,000 per year

A 34,000 square-foot wave pool

Walk the Plank:

A 90-foot slide

A 70-foot slide

A 54-foot slide complex

Ship Wreck Falls:

Not So Lazy River:

A 2,000-foot long attraction featuring rapids and a waterfall

Restaurants, Food and Drinks

  • Oscar’s Galley, which will serve as the park’s main eatery
  • The Jolly Roger, a Mexican-themed bar/restaurant
  • An ice cream parlor
  • “Grab and go” food kiosks located throughout the park

Fun Just for the Kids

Pirates-in-training should have a jolly-good time at Finn’s Reef, an interactive area geared for children featuring more than 15,000 square feet of pirate-themed attractions, including two massive dump buckets, water cannons, two slides, cargo nets and more.
